We are pleased to announce that as of March 21, we changed our company name from T-ICU Co.,Ltd. to Vitaars Inc.

Since its establishment in 2016, Vitaars has been providing services and systems that support medical treatment from a distance, centering on tele-ICU.
We have decided to change our company name in order to expand our business not only into the field of intensive care, but also into new areas of medical care.

We will continue to promote growth and increase our corporate value under our mission to deliver “the best medical care to people around the world.”

Since our company was founded, our name “T-ICU,” has conveyed that we provide tele-ICU services to hospitals in an easy-to-understand manner. Once our organization grew, we felt it necessary to change our company name to reflect our expansion into other fields while centering our business in the intensive care field.

“Ars longa, vita brevis.” – These words of Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician who laid the foundation of Western medicine, have been passed down to us as “Mastering a skill takes time, and time must never be wasted.” The word “brevis” is used to refer to the fields of medicine, technology, and art. The company’s new name, “Vitaars,” was created by combining “ars”—meaning medicine, technology, and art—and “vita,” meaning life, living, and life. Our design that resembles the profile of Hippocrates.

The words of Hippocrates are superimposed to convey our vision: to support the medical field with our expertise and experience, and to create an environment where the wishes of patients, healthcare professionals, and all those involved can be fulfilled.
